Device mockups without a design subscription

Place your own PNG, JPEG or WebP screenshots inside device frames, or leave them unframed. Adjust the size, angle, spacing and background. Create a two-panel composition when one image is not enough. Frames are illustrative; changing the output preset does not turn an iPhone screenshot into an iPad interface.

Screenshot templates that keep your content

Browse complete collections with centred phones, cropped devices and connected two-panel layouts. Collections append to your project; replace fictional examples before exporting. Start with a blank canvas when you prefer. Templates keep your images and copy, so you can try different layouts quickly. Alignment guides help keep headlines and devices consistent across a set and never appear in exports.

Your brand, ready for the next set

Style headlines, backgrounds and accent colours. Save a brand kit with your font, colours and optional logo, then apply it to one screenshot or the whole set. Export a kit backup to reuse it in another browser.

Preview every export size

Choose up to four output sizes and review each composition before downloading. Missing screenshots block export unless you deliberately choose a blank canvas, while low-resolution images and large text trigger warnings. Download a single PNG or a ZIP containing your set. Always review the final images before publishing.

How to make app screenshots

  1. Add your app screen. Upload, paste or drop your screenshots into the editor. Use the highest-resolution originals you have.
  2. Choose a frame and composition. Select an output size, apply a template and write a short headline describing what the screen does.
  3. Make the set consistent. Apply your colours and font, then use alignment guides to match the layout across slides.
  4. Check and export. Inspect the size previews, fix missing assets and review quality warnings. Download PNGs or a ZIP, and save a project backup for later.

App screenshot maker: common questions

Choose a question to open its answer.

Is Screenshot Studio free, and does it add a watermark?

Yes, the tool is free. It does not add a watermark or require an account. A logo is only included if you add one to your design.

Can I make App Store and Google Play screenshots?

You can prepare app marketing screenshots using named iPhone, iPad, Watch and Android output presets or custom sizes. Requirements vary by store and device category. Check Apple’s screenshot specifications and Google Play’s preview asset guidance before submission. The tool does not guarantee store approval.

Are my screenshots uploaded to a server?

The editor processes your images in your browser and saves projects locally on your device. There is no cloud project account. Use Save project to download a backup: clearing browser storage can remove locally saved work.

Does it capture screenshots or generate an app interface?

No. Screenshot Studio composes images you supply. Capture your app on a device or simulator first, then use this tool to add frames, backgrounds and captions. The colourful Loop music app shown in our examples is fictional demo artwork.

Can I use my own logo and colours?

Yes. Set background, accent and text colours, choose a supported font and upload an optional logo. A transparent PNG avoids a box around the logo. Save these choices as a reusable brand kit.

Does changing the language translate my screenshots?

No. The language choice changes the editor and guide. Your captions, filenames and artwork stay unchanged. Duplicate slides to create translated versions of your screenshots.
